What to Wear

To ensure that you all get the most out of your classes, we would like to make some recommendations about appropriate attire. Here's a general idea of what to wear for the different styles of dance provided with Next Gen!.

Hip Hop Boys and Girls

• Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing such as tracksuit pants and cargos (no jeans)
• Sneakers or similar shoes.
  

Ballet Girls

• Hair off the face (bun secured in place preferred)
• Leotard
• Matching skirt
• Matching crossover
• Ballet shoes
• Socks or tights

Ballet Boys

• Leggings or bike shorts
• Boys leotard or muscle singlet top or tight t-shirt
• Ballet shoes
• Socks

Jazz Girls and Boys

• Shorts, leggings or dance pants
• Leotard or singlet top or t shirts
• Jazz shoes/sneakers
• Socks or tights

Tap Girls and Boys

• Leotard or singlet top or t shirt
• Tap shoes
• Shorts, leggings or dance pants
• Socks or tights
