General Information
Next Gen is located at The Space Dance and Arts Centre, Upstairs 318 Chapel Street Prahran. The entrance is located on Carlton Street and reception on Level One.
Students and parents are required to check in through reception before heading to class where the teacher will then mark an attendance roll.
Students are required to arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes before the start of class to change clothes (if needed) and the class to start on time.
Parents and not allowed to sit in on classes. We discourage this to limit distraction during the class so the teacher has the full attention of all the students. However, parents are welcome to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the end of class.
NOTES: Exceptions are given for the MIXED BAG and TINY TOTS Classes, where parents are allowed to sit in on the class at the teacher’s discretion.
Next Gen! End of Year Performance
Term 4 is quickly creeping up on us and its time to announce the dates for the End of Year Performance so you can save the date now and book your Christmas Holidays!
Each Next Gen! class will be invited to perform one routine and the kids are very excited to show you what they have learnt in the last two Terms of the Year!
The End of Year Performance will be held on:
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of December
Performance times will be confirmed when tickets go on sale next Term and like the Mid Year Performance the show will be held in the “Dance Hall” at The Space Dance & Arts Centre in Prahran. So for now, block out the date and get excited!
Dress Rehearsal:
The Dress Rehearsal will be held on the morning of Saturday 3rd December in the “Dance Hall” and I will confirm times closer to the date.
Costume Levy:
Please be aware that for Term 4 a $25 Costume Levy will automatically be charged to your child's fees for each class. In order to assist with positioning the routines, we would ask that those students who are not able to take part to let their teachers know as soon as possible.

Enrolments
Student enrolments for Next Gen! are taken through reception at the Space. It’s recommended that parents enrol their children before the first class of the term.
Next Gen! will have an enrolment day at the beginning of each term where parents and students will be able to come in to the space and sign up for classes as well as meet some of the teachers and find out any more information regarding Next Gen!
Next Gen! Classes are organized by age groups.

- Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing such as tracksuit pants and cargos (no jeans)
- Sneakers or similar shoes.
Ballet Girls
- Hair off the face (bun secured in place preferred)
- Leotard
- Matching skirt
- Matching crossover
- Ballet shoes
- Socks or tights
Ballet Boys
- Leggings or bike shorts
- Boys leotard or muscle singlet top or tight t-shirt

Jazz Girls and Boys
